We are dropping Meeka's adoption fee to only $50.00 because her foster needs more space; and her being a mix. Meeka was taken into Roanoke shelter at 3 months old due to "husky tendencies". Meeka likes to be in charge so she needs a husky savvy home. She plays well with other dogs, but like some dogs guards her food; so no free feeders. She is doing well at her foster home in Blacksburg VA. At first as a puppy we thought she was a wooley husky with the puppy photo the shelter has emailed us; however now that she is older we have her as a high energy husky/border collie mix. She is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. She is housebroken and crate trained. Barks when you come home to tell you "I missed you!" Meeka is very sweet and would love a fenced yard to run.
