Here at SIBERIAN HUSKY ASSIST RESCUE, we rescue Siberian Huskies from shelters in SW Virginia to East Tennessee. Cities from Roanoke, south, to Knoxville.. We are a (501c3) non profit organization so your donation is tax deductible. PLEASE do not get a Siberian if your not understanding of the breeds characteristics. See our husky education page. We are remembered when you need us to help you; think about us and try to help us when you don't need help. We need: buckle collars all sizes (sadly we get puppies too), flea-tick, and heart-worm preventive, new or used crates, kennels, toys, chews, money for vet bills. Even if we had plenty of fosters, we need money to pay for vetting and food. To see those sweet adoptable huskies click on "Animals" at the top of this page or on "Available Dogs" at the box to the right.
Keep tabs on this well-known escape artist or he will wander.

The Siberian Husky is a beautiful breed with a thick coat that comes in a multitude of colors and markings. Their blue or multi-colored eyes and striking facial masks only add to the appeal of this breed, which originated in Siberia. It is easy to see why many are drawn to the Siberian's wolf-like looks, but be aware that this athletic, intelligent dog can be independent and challenging for first-time dog owners. Huskies also put the "H" in Houdini and need a fenced yard that is sunk in the ground to prevent escapes.
