It all begins at 10:00 at the Trail head in Abingdon Virginia.
Mushers and their DOGSLED teams relay the serum at
Watauga, Alvarado Station, Iron Horse Campground and
then into the Park in Damascus.

When its time to get out in the winter with the family, this is the place.
5:00 Meet the Mushers Dinner with Iditarod Finisher
$12.00 per person includes pasta buffet meal, dessert, and the exciting presentation by Bill Borden, and live Auction.

We have added an Animal Rescue Resort division that will earn
money for other specialty animal rescue groups and include
community Spay Neuter financial help.
In 1925 the sled dogs ran to save HUMAN lives,
now they run to save ANIMAL lives!
